Lots of opportunities for snorkeling and saw some really clear waters and turtles at our second location. Didn't get to see manta ray though so recommend coming during better weather (we were here in early June). our tour guides Phillip and Derek were great, so knowledgeable and really fun to hang out with. Lunch spot had a great view also. Overall a great day trip. Penida island itself didn't have much to see, just that peninsula. You don't get to go down to the beach because there's no time but not much there anyways.

The experience was amazing! Gio and Tim went out of their way to give us the full experience and more! Very helpful, friendly and energetic gentlemen. Would definitely recommend them to travelers looking for 5 star adventure.

We had a lovely time on this tour. It was my first time snorkeling - Gio and Tim were great guides and made sure that we felt safe and had fun. The views were lovely and the tour was worth it 👏🏾

Overall, outstanding experience with two regrets (please see below)
I booked a private boat 4 spot snorkeling and land tour. The rendezvous was decided at 8 AM at the Seagrass by the Beach. The Company - Day Trip Bali has an arrangement with the resto. They have nice washrooms and great breakfast options, in case you want to get ready for the long day. At this resto we met our guide - The Fabulous Tita.
The weather wasn't very helpful in the morning - cloudy and occasional drizzles. Tita introduced me to the captain and the co-captain - Karaks. We traveled by Sanjaya 3, a nice speedboat.
As soon as we started we were informed that due to inclement weather we can't go to the Manta point. We agreed. We were taken to three snorkeling spots - two before lunch and one after. We were taken to Hotel Amarta for lunch. It is a mid tier place but clean. The food was decent. For the land tour we went to the Kelingkin beach, had fantastic views. In the meantime, the sun cane out, we decided against spending anymore time on the land and went back to the boat.
The boat is large, has an emergency bathroom, one can use the space to change clothes. They served fruits, water. Also supplied towels.
The snorkeling gear was very good.
The snorkeling experience - OUTSTANDING! Mr. Tita took us (my daughter and I) on three trips. We saw many schools of fish, star fish, anemone, variety of coral formation and two sea turtles. Overall, we are very happy.
Regrets:
1. Due to inclement weather, the boat didn't/couldn't go to Manta Point (no one's fault). However, it was the major part of the tour (2 hour dedicated to it - see screenshot). As it was canceled, they should have made part refund. The T&Cs are completely stacked against the tourists. It is unfair.
2. I asked Mr. Tita to arrange a taxi for us to drop us at our hotel in Nusa Penida - Tanadewa Villas. The company's (Daytrip Bali) documents state that a drop is charged at 250000 IDR. We were charged 500000 IDR. I asked our hotel afterwards, the going rate is 300000 IDR. This is the ONLY instance of getting cheated at Bali. Left a bad taste in mouth.
