This was my first time snorkeling and I had wonderful experience. Our guide Dani and Katut and other krews were caring and supportive. We had visited four spots. I only disliked the first one because it was a bit wavy and was so so much crowded. It was the manta ray spot but we missed it. But it’s the nature, whom can I blame?
I have nothing to add about the team except about there warmth and care, but have few things to add about the tour in general for the benefit of following guests.
1. Spots are crowded: but I think there can be no improvement about it. Manta rays must be appearing only at certain points and neither can you have multiple Nusa Pedina. Just except what you’re doing.
2. Learn basics about snorkeling: reading something on the internet was enough. This is a group tour so even the most caring krew can’t be your private mentor.
There was an annoying group in our team who were always about to be late and, occupy the boat’s top seat during the whole tour. Yes they were just annoying nothing serious. But I felt like guide’s proper intervention on order maintanence could improve team’s overall experience. It doesn’t work well when whole assessment is done by sole criteria; which is number of “excellent” customer reviews.
And just one more thought. I think land tour can be replace to more relaxing ones: like massage or kayaking, paddle boarding… etc.

We were the only family onboard but the whole team were very friendly and considerate. The swell was a bit surgey so the team gave us the option to stay on the island a little bit longer which I think everyone was greatful for. We were pleasantly surprised by the fish and all the colours. Lunch with a view was a nice way to break up the day, along with a trip to the cliffs. The highlight had to be the manta rays though, so close and we spent a good 30min watching them below us. The relaxing finish with the drift snorkel followed by champagne was a nice way to conclude the great day. If you are thinking of booking this full day trip do it.

Boat trip of a lifetime swimming with giant mantas
Myself and my wife had the most amazing day, taking the boat to beautiful Nusa Penida. Swimming with giant mantas was experience of a lifetime and the turtles were cool too! Lunch was tasty with great scenery for photos. Special thanks to Ceco and Roby for ensuring we had the best time possible!

Amazing tour and probably the main highlight of our Bali trip. Nyoman and his staff were fantastic. Saw many fish, turles, and Manta's, it was simply a wonderful experience.
