Krishna was the absolute perfect host for the perfect host trip. His high energy was captivating, although a little cringy at first 😆 but take it with a pinch of salt because he’s one of the nicest people you’ll come across!
When we arrived at the meeting point, the office, by our driver, we were given a small brief and told we were early and could check-in and use our welcome drink voucher for hot drinks or soft drinks and small food options were available for breakfast - at a very reasonable price may I add - and HUGE, DELICIOUS portions.
Before leaving we were given a debrief of the day.
The boat was a short walk from the meeting point in the port, we boarded one of two boats which were extremely comfortable. We were all sat close together which quickly encouraged the group of 12 to mingle and get to know each other.
We arrived at Manta Point, were given our clean snorkelling gear and Krishna very kindly reminded us the quicker we get in the water, the more time we have in the water with Mantas! No mucking about! Just how I like it.
The mantas were soon visible with some incredible tropical fish and came within close proximity, especially if you’re confident going a little deep under water (max 5 meters). Don’t go too close to the mantas - 2 meters away is plenty as they’re here 2 meters wide!
Krishna was in the water with us with his GO-PRO taking photos and videos of the a mantas, coral reef and people in the group. He sent these FREE OF CHARGE. Some excursions charge as much as £60 or 1,000,000 IDR for photos like these
After what felt like a lifetime with the mantas but not long enough, we boarded the boat and went to the second spot.
Much quieter than Mantas Bay and with crystal clear waters and beautiful Coral, you’ll get plenty of chance to explore here. We saw a turtle, and you could be lucky enough to see the same, maybe more.
After our third stop in another coral reef it was time to port in Nusa Penida. A short walk to the car park and then a 10 minute journey to the location for food (the journey is somewhat uncomfortable as the roads on the island aren’t great.
The buffet was fantastic with one of the most incredible views I’ve had while eating. We had an hour here which was plenty of time to relax take photos around the grounds.
We then went to the famous cliff. Unfortunately for us, the weather wasn’t great but that didn’t stop our cameraman taking some fanatic photos of us.
Back to the boat, we were told about our fourth and final snorkelling spot - Mangrove point - which looked incredible. However, on the way there, we all spotted a pod of dolphins and Krishna very kindly give us the option to try and swim with dolphins and everyone very quickly got their shoreline gear on and dived in the water!
Sadly, dolphins are very quick and shy so much of the group didn’t get to see the dolphins up close, however I was lucky enough to be within 5 meters and get a video before the dolphin dived down to the depths.
This isn’t part of the tour - but just shows the versatility on offer by the tour guides - personalising the trip based on the conditions, scenarios and group.
On the way back, we stopped near by mangrove point, popped open the champagne and all celebrated the day with a lil’ bit of the bubblé!
The perfect way to end one of the best days of my life and I’m incredibly grateful to all of the crew and everyone else who was involved. What a spectacular day it was!

Absolutely the highlight for us. Definitely must do, seen many beautiful colourful fish, giant mantas, and wonderful large sea turtles. To top it off we had an amazing crew and guide Olog.
Would highly recommend this tour.
We hired a private tour, well worth it.

Highlight of our trip to bali! We saw both manta rays and 10 🐢 , the boat felt very safe, so much fun on board and the guides Dani & Aden were friendly and fun! To top it off the guides take underwater photos and videos of the day and for no extra cost you get these for Life long memories! Highly recommend!!

Great snorkel tour around nusa penida
My wife and I booked a tour last minute (literally 8pm the day prior) and Day Trip Bali took care of us without dropping a beat. Derrick & crew took us on an amazing tour of the hot snorkeling spots around Nusa Penida and Lembogan on Little Star. We had an amazing time - saw Manta Rays and Turtles and even had a rare surprise dolphin encounter! Was magical. Reasonable price for a very relaxing and enjoyable day. He even provided the photos & videos from the gopro at the end of the day for free - all the tours I've been on the past have charged for this. Would highly recommend.

Great snorkel tour around nusa penida
My wife and I booked a tour last minute (literally 8pm the day prior) and Day Trip Bali took care of us without dropping a beat. Derrick & crew took us on an amazing tour of the hot snorkeling spots around Nusa Penida and Lembogan on Little Star. We had an amazing time - saw Manta Rays and Turtles and even had a rare surprise dolphin encounter! Was magical. Reasonable price for a very relaxing and enjoyable day. He even provided the photos & videos from the gopro at the end of the day for free - all the tours I've been on the past have charged for this. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful snorkeling and land tour
Wonderful and well planned snorkeling and land tour. Aldo and Derick are amazing tour guides and very professional divers. They take very good care of us. We've spent a good time.

Dani and Aden took us to several coastal spots for snorkelling and sightseeing.
We were lucky to see manta rays and several sea turtles, captured on film by the team.
Dani and Aden also took a number of cool pictures of my group, which is much appreciated. Highly recommend.
