Nusa Penida by Private Boat - Snorkeling 4 spots, Swim with Mantas + Land Tour Our guides Phillip and Nyoman were absolutely amazing. They were so organised, informative and answered all our questions. We saw numerous mantas and at least 8-10 turtles. Beautiful tropical fish in abundance and a delicious buffet at Amara Resort Penida. Great photo opportunities at the KlungKlung cliffs and Amara resort. Nyoman and Phillip free dived and pointed out the turtles with some amazing footage. They also ensured buoys were available to anyone feeling a little tired and made sure everyone was accounted for. Phillip and Nyoman Offered us water after each snorkel and some fruit. Let’s Not forget Captain Putu and his trusty seaman Ketut on the Sweet Heart. Both were welcoming, professional and helpful. I would definitely recommend this tour and this team. Thanks for a Fantastic day. Take Care and see you next time Craig & Paula Melbourne Victoria Australia (G)

amazing trip with 2 buddies from work, unfortunately, they got violently seasick and couldn't experience most of the trip even with the seasickness meds the crew provided, the water was just too turbulent that day
If you are squeamish around water i suggest taking the land day trip, getting into the water here isn't for beginners
That being said...
our guide O'neill and the crew of the Sweetheart were awesome and their service was great and professional, the captain handled the boat really well even in rocky waters and the guides were on point with their directions and underwater photo skills, my praises in particular for O'neill who even went back to the car to grab my phone for me when I realized i left it and brought it all the way back down to the cliff face
and the snorkeling, the snorkeling was just amazing
manta experience was worthwhile by itself, in other places with mantas they often stick to the ocean floor to filter feed against the currents, you can see a whole herd of them sometimes in a conga line, but never close to the surface, but here, they come right to the surface and you can swim around them, this is on top of the corals, fish and sea turtles that we saw
I would highly recommend this tour and team in particular to anyone who's interested in marine life, truly once in a lifetime experience and I'd honestly take more friends and family here again if I ever get the chance to! (TA)

If you are squeamish around water i suggest taking the land day trip, getting into the water here isn't for beginners

Our guide Nyoman and the crew were excellent. We booked a small private speed boat for a snorkeling tour around Penida Nusa which included manta bay- saw 3 mantas- a cool drift snorkel, crystal bay and everyone’s favorite, a dive where sea turtles hang out. We counted around 10 turtles during that dive, although we had cut lunch short a bit so we could spend more time in the water which the crew was generous in accommodating. (Note we all dive and could easily handle longer times in the water plus we tipped accordingly to account for their accommodation.)
They also shot GoPro footage, which we haven’t seen yet, but are lookin forward to. The footage we shot came out excellent though! Would highly recommend. (TA)

We had an amazing day with Ringo and Derek! The Captain and his crew were so accommodating. They truly made this day one of the best! I would highly recommend taking this tour! Saw some Mantas & lots of turtles. Nice view at the restaurant, hoped we could stayed longer to enjoy the pool and sunbed. The last snorkeling spot was my favorite, with strong current but so many corals. I also liked the wearable towels they provided too. (TA)
