Snorkelling trip to Nusa Penida
Had a great snorkelling trip and saw Manta rays, turtles and many beautiful fish and corals. Lunch was lovely at a beautiful cliff top restaurant. We felt really looked after by the guides. Would definitely recommend.

Olog and Nemo were incredible tour guides. Me and my wife had a fantastic time. The highlight of the experience was definitely swimming with the manta rays. They took great photos and videos for us and we 100% recommend this experience.

Great experience, guides and snorkeling
Fantastic experience provided by Day Trip Bali. As first timers in Bali, we weren’t sure what to expect for an ambitious day trip that included snorkeling in four different locations, a three hour land tour to visit the famous Klingkljng cliffs, as well as visiting a beautiful mountain restaurant with ocean views. Everything went off without a hitch, from the time we were picked up from our hotel till drop-off.
Our guides - Nyoman and Kadek - were excellent. In our snorkeling activities, both were accommodating to everyone’s ability, ensuring safety first and foremost, as well as going out of their way to make sure we all got to see the incredible marine life that Nusa Penida has to offer. We got lucky with the conditions and were able to clearly see - and swim with - Manta Rays (I counted 5-6, including a big one with perhaps a 10 foot wingspan), turtles, and a wide variety of radiantly colored fish. I was somewhat inexperienced at snorkeling but Nyoman is a certified scuba diver, and taught me how to depressurize my ears in order to swim at deeper depths. This allowed me to dive deeper and swim along the coral reef, further immersing in the abundant marine life.
From a safety perspective, I was really impressed by their professionalism. At each snorkeling spot they would communicate in advance where to swim, and then when we were in the water, they would both verbally call out their position and identify ours to ensure we were being accounted for. This was especially confidence-inspiring at two of the snorkel spots where the current was somewhat strong. Normally cautious, I felt safe enough to spend more time underwater exploring.
While the excursion is mostly focused on snorkeling, we did spend about 2-3 hours on land. We got off the boat in the harbor and boarded vans and drove to this beautiful restaurant overlooking the ocean atop a cliff. It has a pool overlooking the ocean and a great photo op (best photo we have taken in Bali so far). From there, we ventured via van to Klingkling cliffs, where we got to take in the spectacular view.
The time on land was a bit more driving than we all wanted due to traffic, but for someone who had never been to Nusa Penida before, we wanted to see the island and were happy to endure the slower traffic and bumpy roads.
My only critique is that I wish we had seen the Manta rays last since it took us a while to get comfortable snorkeling and the water was a bit choppier there.
In all, a 10/10 experience thanks to the crew. A huge shoutout to our boat driver whose name is mistaking me. He navigated us through some very high seas on the return voyage.

The whole day was amazing, Nyoman and Kadek were awesome and helped us through the day from spotting the turtles to making sure we all knew what we were doing at each spot. They were very helpful and made the experience so much better.
