Great experience despite boat break down
Overall good experience with nice crowd and great guides. Our boat broke down before we got out of the harbour and we were sitting doing nothing for 2 hours and spirits were low. However, despite this, they got us a new and better boat and we were very pleased with our experience. Lunch was great with filling meals and snorkel spots were great. Equipment was really high quality and masks didn’t fog up. Despite the mishap still turned out really well and would certainly recommend to all.

My friends and I booked a boat trip through Nusa Penida One with Alden and Kris as our guides, and it was such a fantastic experience! We snorkeled around beautiful reefs, saw manta rays, and even though it wasn’t guaranteed, they promised we’d see turtles—and we did! The snorkeling was definitely a highlight, and having Putu, the photographer, with us was a huge bonus. Plus, we really appreciated them surprising our birthday girl with cake and prosecco—it made the trip even more special. Alden and Kris were super friendly and made the whole experience so fun and easygoing. If you’re heading to Bali, I’d totally recommend booking with them!

We booked a private snorkelling only tour on one of the Sanjaya boats for our party of 9 people. It was beyond amazing. We wanted to see the Mantarays (and they came) and turtles (which we saw lots). You can choose to do a snorkelling and land tour, but we chose the water only.
Our guides, Nyoman & Eric, were also amazing. They ensured everyone was together and safe. Eric was the man on the GoPro (see photo), and captured some fantastic memories. Totally recommend this company to anyone.

We booked a private snorkelling only tour on one of the Sanjaya boats for our party of 9 people. It was beyond amazing. We wanted to see the Mantarays (and they came) and turtles (which we saw lots). You can choose to do a snorkelling and land tour, but we chose the water only.
Our guides, Nyoman & Eric, were also amazing. They ensured everyone was together and safe. Eric was the man on the GoPro (see photo), and captured some fantastic memories. Totally recommend this company to anyone.

Had an amazing day yesterday, I was worried on going on this boat tour but it was the best part of our trip. The staff were great and always made sure we were having fun, Derrick was the best snorkel guide teaching us how to dive deeper.

We had a great day with Dani, and we enjoyed our snorkel. We saw a lot of fish and some turtles, but unfortunately no rays.
The water was pretty rough, and it sounds like that’s normal, so those who get seasick might not enjoy this. The morning is pretty rocky, and about half of our boat threw up in the water. In the afternoon, everyone felt much better.
I luckily felt good most of the tour so was able to participate in all snorkeling spots. But a lot of people felt sick after the first spot, so only a few of us jumped in for the second (which was a much calmer area). Dani was nice to offer an early lunch so that people could relax.
The snorkeling sports in the morning were crowded as everyone is on the same schedule. It can be hard to swim as there are people everywhere. In the afternoon, people are more spaced out, so it’s much better.
Overall, the tour was a good way to snorkel around Nusa Penida (the land part was skippable imo as it was just a quick viewpoint). But be prepared to feel sick in the morning and deal with some crowds.
Dani and our other guide were great - knowledgeable, helpful, and caring.

Had an amazing time with Pako, Tim and the team! The day excursion was long but super fulfilling and worthwhile. It was truly some of the best snorkeling I’ve ever done with clear waters; we saw tons of fish, vibrant coral, and even sea turtles and manta rays! The drive up the island was also super cool and different. FYI: this trip probably isn’t for those prone to seasickness and weak swimmers. The waters were very choppy and the ride to and from the island was super rough, though the team did a good job to make everyone comfortable.

This was my first time snorkeling and I had wonderful experience. Our guide Dani and Katut and other krews were caring and supportive. We had visited four spots. I only disliked the first one because it was a bit wavy and was so so much crowded. It was the manta ray spot but we missed it. But it’s the nature, whom can I blame?
I have nothing to add about the team except about there warmth and care, but have few things to add about the tour in general for the benefit of following guests.
1. Spots are crowded: but I think there can be no improvement about it. Manta rays must be appearing only at certain points and neither can you have multiple Nusa Pedina. Just except what you’re doing.
2. Learn basics about snorkeling: reading something on the internet was enough. This is a group tour so even the most caring krew can’t be your private mentor.
There was an annoying group in our team who were always about to be late and, occupy the boat’s top seat during the whole tour. Yes they were just annoying nothing serious. But I felt like guide’s proper intervention on order maintanence could improve team’s overall experience. It doesn’t work well when whole assessment is done by sole criteria; which is number of “excellent” customer reviews.
And just one more thought. I think land tour can be replace to more relaxing ones: like massage or kayaking, paddle boarding… etc.
