Jena & Kudil the BEST guides you could ask for to visit Nusa Penida both on land and under water
From the time you meet Jena you know you're in for the best day, and then he is equally balanced out by the easy going nature of Kudil. The tour is utterly jam packed with each dive a different experience, from drift diving with turtles, to free diving with the 1000's of variety of coral fish, to feeding and then onto the main attraction interacting with the Manta. Words will not be able to convey what swimming with these majestic animals is like. Coupled with lunch at the most incredible location ever. A bonus is the drive on Nusa Penida, literally better than any roller coaster you will ever ride. But honestly, the day is made by the guides and Jena & Kudil you both are FANTASTIC, the absolute BEST!!!!! This is a MUST DO in Bali. And by the way the boat is absolute luxury as well.

Amazing encounter with huge manta rays. Snorkelling experience in Nusa Penida is breathtaking. Gio and Tim are super friendly and experienced. We had a lot of fun in the Indian Ocean with the group.

The views were incredible and the water was perfect. Gio and Micky took us to some beautiful spots to practice before taking us to to see the Manta Rays.

This snorkeling experience has made my life unforgettable. Bali is a beautiful place, and the staff Tim & Putu who took care of us were extremely kind. They were very thoughtful, looked after us well, and gave clear explanations. I felt cared for, so thank you to Tim & Putu —grateful for everything.

We booked a trip to Nusa Penida with Nusa Penida Day Tour in Bali to get one last day of snorkeling in before heading home. Our wonderful guides were Derrick and Gede. They were incredible. The tour mentioned the possibility of swimming with Manta Rays. We figured that was just an enticement to get people to sign up. We were assigned to a high speed boat with a dozen others (a true international group of peple from India, USA, New Zealand, Australia, and Japan), that got us from Bali to Nusa Penida in a half hour, where we rigged up and jumped in for our first swim. This swim was to get everyone on the tour comfortable in the water, so it was an easy snorkel staying close to the anchored boat. After 45 minutes we got back on the boat and headed to a second site. This site allowed us to drift, so swimming was only needed to stay close to the group. We say a couple of turtles on this swim. Again after about 45 minutes we returned to the boat and went to a third snorkel site. This was another drift swim, however the marine life was much nicer. Lots of beautiful fish, corals, and turtles! After another 45 to 60 minutes in the water we got back on the boat, headed to a dock, and drove to a restaurant for lunch. Just as we arrived at the restaurant, the skys opened up and it poured rain! Perfect timing. As we ate a wonderful lunch, the the rain lightened up and finally stopped. We then headed to an overlook of a bay that was fantastic. We then drove back to the boats to go look for Manta Rays. In a few minutes, the crew got excited and told everyone to get ready. We all jumped in and for the next hour swam with at least two Manta Rays! The rays kept swimming around us, not bothered by all the swimmers kicking to get a good view. Several times a Manta Ray would swim right at me and barely miss me as it passed by. It felt like they wanted to take a look at us, as much as we wanted to see them. The experience was the best way to end our trip to Indonesia and Bali.
